so i just ran a 10 min 50 second mile. i am so happy that i pushed myself, and got a full minute off of my mile, since the last mile i ran was 11 minutes 48 seconds! it is really finally starting to feel like i can actually do this, I can make my goals and be able to enlist. i was so scared i couldn’t handle it, but i am proving to myself, and to everyone who said i couldn’t, that i can. my goal is a 14:26 mile and a half, 18 push ups and 38 situps, which is the fitness targets for pre-BMT. i am so happy i can’t even express how happy i am.
